Rear Gears: I upgraded the stock rear gear to a 4.777 ring and pinion set from Rotary Performance in TX. The gears are claimed to drop 1/2 sec or more off the cars quarter mile time. You can definitely notice the difference in the gearing. When you really get on the gas first gear wipes by so fast that I found myself hitting the rev limiter allot in the beginning. The benefits are noticed through out all the gears. After the installation my 5th gear pull about has hard as my old 4th gear. The higher gearing does cause the cars speedometer to be more inaccurate the faster you go. From what I could tell when my car indicates 100 mph I am really doing about 90 mph. The cars top speed is also lowered by about 10-15 mph. Kit runs about 1000 dollars installed, but for reliable speed I think it was worth every penny.

Under Drive Pulleys:I installed Greddy's under drive pulley kit. The pulleys under drive the alternator and water pump by 25% and eliminate the air pump.
